50 Books for My Favorite Line, Harlequin Presents!

If you had asked me in 2003 when my first book, A Spanish Inheritance, was published if I thought I would be here thirteen years later talking about my 50th book, I would have shaken my head in disbelief. If I was lucky enough to be published among so many great authors that I had loved and admired for years, I had a vague idea that maybe 6 books would be a really big achievement.
What I hadn’t bargained for was how much I would love writing these big, sweeping romances, or how enthusiastic and encouraging my rapidly increasing band of readers would be. Nor had I planned for the unstinting support and inspiration of the team at Mills & Boon.
So, here I am, 8 million books later, still shaking my head in disbelief!
What I really want to say is thank you, because without you, the readers, there would be no books, no stories, and no chance to share my dreams. Without you there would be no Susan Stephens. There would just be Susan, staring at the computer keyboard with a head full of romantic ideas, thinking, what if…
