Happy St Valentine’s Day 2014!

by Carole Mortimer, author of A Bargain with the Enemy

Wow, arguably the most romantic day of the year, when we can all – secretly or openly – send cards, messages or flowers to that man or woman we really like or love.  Although personally I think that every day is a day to do that – why wait till February 14th to tell someone you love them?

The first book in my D’Angelo trilogy, A Bargain With the Enemy is out this month, and is my valentine gift to you all.  The second book, A Price Beyond Jewels, will be out in March, and the third book, A D’Angelo Like No Other, in April.

All three books are set in and around the Archangel art galleries, owned and run by the three brothers – with the names Gabriel, Raphael and Michael, I really couldn’t have called their art galleries anything else but Archangel! The first book is set in London, the second in New York, and the third in Paris.  I’ve visited all three cities, and truly believe them to be some of the most romantic in the world, so I had great fun writing about all of them as the background for the stories in D’Angelo brothers’ trilogy.

I’ve given each of the brothers a really feisty heroine – my favourite type.  I just love all that independence, the verbal sparring, and the sexual tension that explodes rather than simmers.

The D’Angelo brothers themselves are hot, hot, hot!  Do I have a favourite?  Well…I shouldn’t have.  But yes, I do have a favourite brother.  I hope you’ll read all three of the books and see if you can guess which one it is!

Enjoy!

Gabriel D’Angelo: renowned and ruthless

Artist Bryn Jones never forgave Gabriel for sending her father to prison, tearing her family apart and breaking her heart in the process. But she has forged herself a new identity away from the scandal and disgrace…until she wins the chance to exhibit at the D’Angelos’ prestigious London gallery!

International tycoon Gabriel D’Angelo is haunted by the unforgiving eyes that once stared at him across a crowded courtroom. Now the enticing Bryn is back, and this time she’ll play by his rules to get what she wants…and Gabriel’s determined that this bargain will be mutually pleasurable!
