My two BFFs inspire me the most. We support each other via daily emails, numerous phone calls, and three trips each year to our respective homes. We motivate each other with catch phrases sometimes; last year it was “be ruthless” when we were downsizing our homes; this year we are “re-evaluating” our lives and finding more “balance” – trying not to let others bring us down or “use” us without our permission, but also finding “me time” whenever possible.

  2. I have a running friend who inspires me – she works full time and has a special needs child, and she’s training for a marathon. Pretty darn amazing!!

  3. Melanie J says:

I get inspiration through everything. Books, Movies, People.. just life in general.

  4. My children inspire me everyday. They encourage me to follow my dreams to be a writer. The last child went off to college this year the other two are sophomores. My happiness is important to them, they call and text me to cheer me up because I am alone. They get excited when I mention sytycw to them and they tell me to go for it. Their love and support is everything to me.

  5. My Husband and I know that sounds really sappy; but he does. Life hasn’t always been easy for us and the past few years have been espcially difficult with family sicknesses, etc; however each day we get up and make our marriage work. He’s never stopped supporting me in anything I do, even when I’ve not been at my best. He makes me strive to be a better person. I’m a lucky girl.

  6. Marcy Shuler says:

I can be inspired by books I read or people I talk to.

  7. bn100 says:

    inspired by talented people

  8. Surrounding myself with positive people (rather than naysayers) who believe in me is probably the best thing to keep myself motivated. Even the more far-fetched goals get reactions like, “Why not? I’ve seen you do far crazier things. Go for it!”

  14. Roxanne says:

What inspires me? Books. Books inspire me. Some books are so profound to me that they are inspiring. Like travel. I am now dying to go to Sweden thanks to a trilogy I love so so much.
