Giveaway: Win 3 March 2013 Harlequin Presents 2-in-1 Books!

by Amy Wilkins, Harlequin Digital

The March 2013 Harlequin Presents books have a special treat in them — a second FREE book! Each book (both print and digital) contains a bonus a reader-favorite story by the same author, so you can get both their brand-book and rediscover a classic romance you may not have read before!

For our monthly giveaway, we have 3 of these March books available to be won: by Carol Marinelli, The Notorious Gabriel Diaz by Cathy Williams, and Island of Secrets by Robyn Donald. Here”s a bit about each book:

“We have made an application on behalf of Niklas Dos Santos to exercise his conjugal rights…”

Learning that the husband she”d tried to forget has spent the past year falsely imprisoned in Brazil and needs her to visit him is the last thing Meg Hamilton wants to hear. But she will play her part, in exchange for Niklas”s signature on the divorce papers!

Except she hadn”t bargained on their mind-blowing connection being as undeniable as ever. Last time it led usually sensible Meg into a Vegas wedding chapel.

This time the consequence of giving in to their chemistry will bind her to Niklas forever….

Plus a Carol Marinelli reader-favorite story: Expecting His Love-Child

The Notorious Gabriel Diaz:

Of all the arrogant billionaires in all the world, why is Gabriel Diaz the only one she can turn to?

The last time Gabriel heard the word no was when Lucy Robins rejected his skilled advances—a moment that is still etched on his bruised ego!

Now, with her family in trouble, Lucy desperately needs help. Gabriel is happy to strike a deal, but his price is high: Lucy”s virginity! Except he wasn”t prepared for their night together to leave him hooked, and when Lucy refuses to be his plaything, he throws that same little word back at her… No!

Plus a Cathy Williams reader-favorite story: Ruthless Tycoon, Inexperienced Mistress

Island of Secrets:

A temptation too far…

The only way Luc MacAllister can get his hands on his inheritance is to spend six months on a Pacific island with his stepfather”s alleged mistress. Joanna Forman could tempt a saint, but if Luc wants to keep his sanity, and his secrets, he should keep her at arm”s length.

Taking her inheritance would confirm Luc”s belief that she”s a gold digger, but turning it down would cost Joanna everything. So she must stand toe-to-toe with the powerful tycoon and hope that until the end of

the long, hot summer she can fight the attraction that burns between them….

Plus a Robyn Donald reader-favorite story: The Billionaire”s Passion

If you”d like to win these three books, just leave a comment telling us what”s your favorite older Harlequin Presents book! Contest will close on March 3 at 11:59pm, and one winner will be drawn from eligible comments and announced on March 4. Open to US/Canada residents only. For full official rules, click here. There’s no way I could tell you my favourite older HQ Presents book; I have been reading romances since 1973 and didn’t start keeping track until I blogged in 2009.
That being said, Annie West is one of my favourite authors, and I totally enjoyed her July/07 book, THE SHEIKH’S RANSOMED BRIDE. I just love her sheikh books! I think I fell in love with the hero myself – thought he was tall, dark, handsome, noble, strong, fearless, and a hunka hunka burnin’ love. Felt like I was right there with them in the story – watching every step of the way. Especially enjoyed how Annie wrote the love scene details.
Yup. It rates up there with the best of the best for me!

I always say that asking someone to pick a favorite book is like asking them to pick a favorite child. But I’ll try – for Harelequin presents – I do like the Sarah Morgan, but hate to pick just one. How about Bella and the Merciless Sheikh? Is that old enough?
I like Kate Hardy and Liz Fielding books too.

It’s hard to pick just one, there are so many amazing authors writing for this line. One of my favorites is Desert Mistress by Helen Bianchin. She is one of my keeper authors. I had almost all of her books but unfortunately lost them with all my other books in the tornado in 2011. It’s really hard to replace some of the older books but when I find one I grab it.

Have loved so many of them, and been reading them since the late 90’s. Penny Jordon and Anne Mather are fav’s as well as lot of the ‘newer’ writers….Jane Porter; Lynn Rae Harris and Jennie Lucas to name a few, there are many others I love as well. However, given the longevity in career and accomplishments will give it to Penny Jordon’s Falcon’s Prey.

Yes, I’m on Pinterest and it is great fun pinning stuff I see into collections that interest me. I, too, am a visual person. But I like landscapes and dream of traveling to far off lands. I have done some traveling in my life, but not as much as I’d like–and so I read romantic stories that allow me to travel in my mind. I love who you have picked for your heros in your Pinterest boards! Dreamy men . . .
