I love Sheikh romances because they seem like they are from another world. Full of Desert sand, thousand year old traditions…sigh!

    love them!

I like Sheikh books for the romance, and it provides a great world that you can get away too. But mostly the romance. 🙂 I’m a sucker for love.

I love the romance in them. I know it’s a little weird but I like that they are so commanding and imposing. But I just love to see them when they meet their match with a great heroine. 🙂

I am 5’10” tall, so I like to dream/read about tall (dark and handsome) men who can carry me away. Sheikhs are usually all that and more. I feel very feminine and well-cared-for when I read these books….

Where else could anyone find tall, dark, handsome and foreign except in Sheihk romances. Dominating men who find their equal in the desert. After all the oasis in the desert is where forbidden love blossom.

We ladies, do crave that barbarism and power from the sheihks. It is quite attractive with that whole desert package going on.

You know, I’m not really sure. LOL I think because while most of us really do not know any billionaires or princes or whatnot (and never will LOL), here, it’s still exotic and a little bit different from those other subjects. Guess that’s the main thing, you still have all the love and romance and alphaness of any of the other types, but here, it’s a little different. Something like that. 🙂

I was reluctant to read sheikh romance novels be because of the negative connotations that presented in the media today regarding middle eastern culture and the treatment of women. Once I began reading them I was hooked. The men are portrayed as strong and dominant, but also caring and gentle with their women????. Isn’t that what all women want in a man. I also enjoy the scenery of the desert & the cross between that life and modern living.

I’m loving all these reasons and I think you’re all right!

And I’m loving the giveaway, thank you Amy, what a brilliant idea (but of course, don’t put me in the draw:-))

I just adore sheikh romances – I think sheikhs are the ultimate alpha hero with a heart beat, commanding, exotic, powerful and always with that hint of danger – and then there’s the setting – from the whispering desert sands to vast and ornate palaces, what’s not to love?
