Maggie, I loved your first chapter, especially your heroine who was smart, sassy, capable and yet so wonderfully vulnerable and sympathetic underneath. Cole was a real, strong, dominant alpha male and as I read your chapter I could totally see the editors’ dilemna cos I was thinking wow this is a great Modern Heat heroine trying to snare a delicious Modern hero.

Gotta tell you I so wanna see the outcome of that!!

And your heroine’s called Maggie too! I love it.

Absolutely the best, Maggie. Your chapter hops off the page. It has everything its supposed to, characters i want to know, sassy dialogue, great imagery and suspence. It’s one of the best pieces of writing I’ve read in a while. You are truely a great writer and a very well deserved winner. I’m definately buying this book. Keep us posted and a very big congratulations, well done and well deserved. You are going to be one of M&B’s greatest writers.
