Royal House of Karedes – the Game!
18 Comments December 14th, 2009 in just for fun, on the web Posted by Amyby Amanda Thiessen, Assistant Product Manager for Harlequin Presents
Wow! This is so exciting—did you know that you can now go online and interact with your favorite Harlequin Presents characters? That’s right; Harlequin Presents has teamed up with Big Fish Games to bring you the first ever Harlequin Presents online interactive game! You can go to www.bigfishgames.com/harlequin to try a free one hour trial of the all-new game Harlequin Presents: Hidden Object of Desire.
This game is based off the popular Royal House of Karedes miniseries, where two islands have been divided by the Stefani diamond. They must come together to mend this diamond and their future bond as a country. Hidden Object of Desire allows you to follow a few key characters through their journey; with your help in finding many key items along the way you will help bring these islands together again.
I have to say from experience this game can be quite addicting, so make sure you have lots of time on hand for when you decide to purchase this game. There are a ton of fun puzzles and mazes, plus lots of items to find that have been hidden within a variety of settings. Check out these screenshots:

Have fun and good luck with all of the exciting games!
Are there other online games you love to play? We’d love to hear about them.

Oh my gosh, Amy! That’s so cool! I am sort of ridiculously excited about this…this is what Trekkies must feel like when they get new games and movies out…
Hmmm…just popped over to check the game out. I have to fend of this gorgeous alpha’s charming advances?? Game over already I’m afraid…:-D
I’m an AVID Big Fish member. I’m using one of my game credits to buy this little GEM!
Thank you so much!

I’m not a game player but it does look like fun. I loved The Royal House of Karedes series, it’s almost done……sigh
I love how the Harlequin logo recharges the hint meter.

Glad you guys are liking it so far! I just love the game description on Big Fish”
“Allie’s on a quest to find some breaking news in the Kingdom of Adamas, but must now choose between her friend`s well-being and true love! The bachelor Prince of Aristo is the most enchanting man she has ever met, but she must fend off his charming advances long enough to figure out what is going on.”
Like right off one of the books, eh? Cute
Hidden object of desire?
Is anyone else thinking what I’m thinking?
No? LOL. Must be the way my mind works.
Love the screenshots – the detail is amazing.
Aargh! It looks amazing, but it won’t let me play as it’s not mac compatible.
Not fair, I sooooo want to fend off the gorgeous alpha male!
The screenshots are, indeed, fantastic!
By the way, book, BILLIONAIRE PRINCE, PREGNANT MISTRESS (the launch book for The Royal House of Karedes series) is a FREE download with the game!!!

I’ve been saving the series up so I can read them all at once, come February. Should I wait to play the game, in case it gives anything away?
As for other games from Big Fish and similar sites, those time management games in the way of Diner Dash and such have had a way of hooking me from time to time. I’ve played the first two Virtual Villagers games and had a great deal of fun with them, as well.
Most recently, I think it was Plants vs Zombies that caught my attention.
That one’s super.
I love the detail in the screenshots. Makes me want to explore that world!
Oooh that looks so cool!!! What fun!
I just finished the game. It seemed a bit short, but was still very enjoyable!
Fine holiday fun to be had by all~ x)
I played the one hour trial…oh that was fun! I will have to get the full version. But, maybe I should…I don’t know…write something…
captcha is Holland pert. The romance writer in my likes the pert.
I’m glad to hear everyone is enjoying the game so far. Just a heads up for those of you who are on MAC computers the game will launch in a MAC version sometime in January so stay tuned, you can join in soon!
