Sandra Marton Presents Four Sexy, Self-made Billionaire Bachelors
23 Comments November 11th, 2009 in alpha hero, books, miniseries Posted by Amyby Sandra Marton, author of Raffaele: Taming His Tempestuous Virgin (November 2009) and Dante: Claiming His Secret Love-Child (December 2009)
Here’s a Quickie Quiz! What do four sexy, gorgeous, self-made billionaire bachelors have in common?
The answer? Why, the family name, Orsini! Raffaele, Dante, Falco and Nicolo Orsini are the take-no-prisoners Alpha heroes of my new exciting mini-series, THE ORSINI BROTHERS.
Many of you have been kind enough to tell me how much you enjoy my family sagas, how real the characters become to you. Well, they’re just as real to me! I love creating people and stories that are intertwined, though each book can always be read, and enjoyed, on its own.
THE ORSINI BROTHERS series has been especially thrilling to create and write. I love crafting a hero every woman wants and no woman can capture and in this series, I’ve had the fun of doing that four different times!
Rafe, Dante, Falco and Nick are Sicilian by blood and American by birth. They’re completely devoted to each other, to their mother and to their sisters but they despise their father, Cesare, the powerful head of a New York crime famiglia. Still, the brothers’ code of honor obligates them to come to his assistance when he asks for their help—help which will forever change their lives.
My series starts this month, with RAFFAELE: TAMING HIS TEMPESTUOUS VIRGIN.
Cesare asks Rafe to go to a Sicilian village forgotten by time, and pay an old debt to Don Freddo Cordiano. A business debt? Rafe asks. No, Cesare says, not exactly. He has arranged for Rafe to marry Cordiano’s daughter, Chiara. Rafe laughs. He’ll go to Sicily but he isn’t marrying anyone, especially not an unsophisticated girl he’s never even seen. But his first meeting with Chiara is not what he expects. And when Rafe learns that Cordiano will give Chiara to a brute of a man if Rafe doesn’t accept the deal… well, he can’t turn his back and walk away. He’ll marry Chiara, take her to New York, then divorce her. That’s the plan, anyway. The problem is that Chiara’s not quite the passive country mouse Rafe expected—and the heat she generates in his blood is too hot to ignore.
Then, in December, Cesare asks a favor of his second son in DANTE: CLAIMING HIS SECRET LOVE-CHILD.
This request seems simple. Will Dante fly to Brazil and help Cesare’s sick old friend by buying his ranch? Dante reluctantly agrees. It is, after all, a straightforward bit of business… so he thinks. But when Dante arrives in Brazil, he finds that his father’s friend has died and left the bankrupt ranch to his daughter, who turns out to be Dante’s former mistress, the one woman he’s never been able to forget. Gabriella Ramos-Viera wants no part of Dante. That’s fine. He wants no part of her, either, until long-simmering desire surfaces along with troubling news. Gaby has an infant son. Is the baby Dante’s? If so, what’s he going to do about it? Maybe the real question is, what will Gaby permit him to do? Nothing, she says… which means that arrogant Dante must take matters into his own hands.
Let me know what you think of RAFFAELE: TAMING HIS TEMPESTUOUS VIRGIN (November) and DANTE: CLAIMING HIS SECRET LOVE-CHILD (December). I’m busy writing books about Falco and Nick right now, so your comments will have special meaning!
With love,
Sandra

I’m so getting these books right now. Oh, I love my Sony e-reader. Thank you Ms. Marton, you’re one of my favourite Presents authors. Keep them coming!
Sandra,
How exciting, four gorgeous heroes, all related! I love their names too. You must have had fun choosing them. And having a crime boss for a father…plenty of intriguing conflict is going to arise from that, I’d guess. I’ll look forward to reading these ones, Sandra. The first two sound intriguing.
Better slip away now. I’m supposed to be finishing a book!
Hi Sandra,
I read the excerpts for your first two Orsini Bros books and I have to admit that I’m already head over heels in love with Rafe. Dante runs a close second. They both sound so hot, hot, hot! How do you do it? And there’s four of them? Wow! I’ll definitely look forward to reading the series.
Got to get back to NaNo land. TTYL and keep up the good work.
I’ve already read Raffaele and Chiara’s story (downloaded it last month), and loved every single word of it. I especially loved how they met; it reminds me of a recent article about the ‘cute-meet’ posted by Ally Blake, because Raffaele and Chiara sure had one cute-meet, lol.
I loved the story so much I rushed to download Dante’s story as soon as it came out on eharlequin. And if it wasn’t for my burning desire to get my entry ready for the latest competition, then I’d probably have read that as well. But it sits in my TRL whispering shamelessly to me, trying to distract me from my own efforts to write
But if it’s anything like Raffaele’s story then I know I’m in for a treat, and I don’t doubt your ability to deliver great romantic drama for Nick and Falco’s stories. I’m looking forward to them sooooo much!
You’ve given us some sizzling teasers here, Sandra. The Orsini brothers’ quartet sounds the perfect reason to get an e-reader!
Sandra, this sounds brilliant! I love all your books, especially the interlinked ones (The Knight Brothers are all on my keeper shelf) so how fantastic to have something new to look forward to each month and the Orsini brothers sound completely delicious. Knowing you, I’m sure you’ve written loads of fabulous sexy scenes putting a whole new spin on that famous phrase from The Godfather, ‘go to the mattresses’
Can’t wait to read them.
Hi Sandra
I adore your books and have just finished Rafe’s story
I can’t wait to read the other three Orsini books (wow – 4 hot brothers!!
)
I’ve just finished Raffaele’s story, and I really enjoyed it. He’s such a wonderful character, alpha, sensitive and a real take charge guy. I loved the way he was so charming to Chiara and her ugly black outfits. The very clever hint of things not right in his brother’s life is a perfect feed in to the next book too. I’m in awe of your ability to write such a good alpha male without making him in any way domineering, and Chiara came across perfectly, her worry about sex explained and real, and dealt with in a way that made her eventual love for her husband very believable.
Bravo!
If you haven’t already, get your hands on these gorgeous guys – you will not be disappointed!! They are alpha to the core, which makes their final resolution all the more enjoyable – YUM!
Sandra let me know that she is on vacation this week, but I’m sure she’ll be thrilled to read all these great comments when she’s back online!
The crime-family father is definitely an intriguing backstory!

Hi Sandra, your books are always a thrill to read but these four hot brothers sound particularly delicious.
Hope you have a great holiday!
Melanie
Four complex Sicilian brothers and the women who have to deal with them?
Sandra, I felt a frisson just anticipating them! Your sagas are unputdownable – emotional roller-coasters whose heroes should carry a definite health (or heart!) warning.
Sharon
I echo Sharon’s thoughts. I find all your books unputdownable, Sandra. I have never once been disappointed and can’t wait to get my head in your books again!
Susan
As Amy said, I’ve been away, sailing the blue Caribbean with my own personal hero–and to return to all your generous, lovely comments is pure joy! Thank you, every one of you. Your pleasure in the stories I write is my pleasure, too. I feel as if we know each other and, in a way, I guess we do!
I have to tell you, I loved letting Rafe slowly fall in love with his Chiara. As for Dante… I don’t want to give anything away to those who’ve yet to read him but when I wrote a scene in which tough Dante realizes what it means to him to sit watching his Gabriella nurse their son… the truth is, I wept as I created the scene. That’s how real my characters are to me and, I hope, to you.
I just finished Falco’s story (Hi to Joanne, my fantastic editor, who just read Falco. And Sarah, I’m so glad you see my Knights as ‘keepers.’ BTW, Falco is very much a Knight at heart–and a knight to my heroine, Elle.)
Now I’m starting to tell Nicolo’s tale. And I’m having a wonderful, wonderful time!
Love to all of you–
Sandra
Hello Everybody:
I’m trying to post a comment but I’m having technical problems. Amy’s been kind enough to post my comments for me and she’s working hard to get me back online at iheart but until then, I’ll keep busy… by spending my writing hours with Nicolo.
Love again,
Sandra
Okay, everybody, this is a test! Am I here… or am I not?

Dear Sandra,
I’ve just finished reading Dante’s novel and I read Rafe’s before. I loved them both so very much. You brought me back to reading presents with these two alpha heros. The novels are simply marvelous and I can not wait for the novels of Nick and Falco. The Orsini Brothers are so much fun to read about and I loved the hints of characters you put about the two sisters as well. I wish you could give them too some novels or make them a secondary characters in the upcoming novels for the brothers. Good luck on writing and will be waiting for the new novels.
Best wishes with love,
Doaa from Egypt
Hi Sandra!! I just finished reading Dante’s story and I’ve already finished Rafe’s. I loved the books, they were awesome! I also really like the fact that you made the heriones, Chiara and Gaby, spirited and courageous women (I can’t stand weak-willed crybabies!). Your best scene, I think, was where Gaby sat nursing Daniel with Dante at her feet- it really moved me! Now all I want to know is when I can buy Falco’s and Nick’s stories! Give me a date, please!!
Cheers, and all the best,
Faiza
Hi everybody:
Doaa, thank you for that wonderful compliment, saying that I’d briought you back to Presents. That’s lovely to hear.
Faiza, Falco’s story comes out in Nov 2010, Nick’s in Dec 2010. I know it’s a long time to wait… but (I hope!) you’ll find both books worth waiting for.
With love,
Sandra
Yay, glad the comment thing worked itself out Sandra!
~Amy
Me, too, Amy!

Falco is interesting indeed, Bahar. A loner. Tough. Fearless. Demanding. Arrogant. And OMY, sooo sexy…
