Huge congratulations to Trish Morey for taking home the Romance Writers of Australia’s Romantic Book of the Year Award (or R*BY award) in the Short Sexy category for The Italian Boss’s Mistress of Revenge this past weekend!
Author Marion Lennox (who writes for Harlequin Presents, Harlequin Romance, Medical Romance, and more, busy lady!) also won the Short Sweet R*BY for His Island Bride (Mills & Boon Medical Romance).

Thank you Amy! Saturday night was such a thrill, especially when the RuBY announcements were made after I discovered that I had also been awarded Honorary Membership of RWAustralia! I had panda eyes even before the RuBY!
It was such a fabulous conference on so many levels – probably our best ever, and it was lovely to see Marion Lennox and Anne Gracie (who has some gorgeous Hqn books to her credit too) take out the RuBY in their categories too.
I’m currently in NZ recuperating:-)) for a couple of days before the Auckland conference. My ears are still buzzing from the noise of all those wonderful writers together in one hotel. I bet the hotel’s still buzzing too:-)) I will try to post a pic of said trophy when I get home.
