What’s going on for the Harlequin Presents series spotlight this week? Take a look!

1) In the eHarlequin.com Community, Presents authors and heroes from their novels are blogging in the My Favorite Hero” blog! Our guests so far:

    2) Sandra Marton’s free online read The Prince’s Mistress has started! It’s a special prequel story for the Royal House of Karedes miniseries. Here’s the blurb:

Billionaire Nick Karrier enjoys a life of carefree luxury in Manhattan, but he harbors a secret: he is really Prince Nicolas, heir to the throne of the island kingdom of Karas. But Nicolas has learned there can be too much of a good thing—and he is ready at last to take over from his aging father and lead his homeland in the future.

Duty demands that Nicolas also take a wife—a well-born woman hand-selected by the Council of Ministers to be his perfect queen. But before resigning himself to a loveless marriage and a life of passionless nights, “Nick” decides seducing a beautiful woman into his bed is the perfect way to spend his last days of freedom. And Chloe Sutton—an aspiring model with obvious contempt for playboys like Nick—presents just enough of a challenge to make the seduction interesting…

    3) This week, when you order $20 (US) or more worth of new releases from July and August at eHarlequin.com, you will get a free copy of Bought for Revenge, Bedded for Pleasure by Emma Darcy! (You will actually get a free book throughout July with the same promo, but the book changes each week.) Plus, you’ll get a special coupon in your order confirmation e-mail for a FREE Presents enriched eBook with every purchase.  Click here for more details and some featured titles.

    4) And in case you missed it in the comments to the Writing Competition launch post from yesterday, author Heidi Rice has posted some tips for writing a synopsis and the synopsis of the first Presents book she sold on her blog at http://heidirice.blogspot.com. Something to get those creative juices flowing!

    5) Ever wonder what classic books like Pride & Prejudice and Jane Eyre would be called if they were published by Harlequin Presents? “Presentsify” your favorites in our Community!

Happy reading (and maybe writing)! :)

The Sandra Marton free read sounds marvellous.

And for any hopeful writers- it’s well worth reading Heidi’s synopsis. I definitely want to see what she post tomorrow too- the changes her editor asked for!
