Backlist Presents eBooks by Penny Jordan, Sandra Marton & Sharon Kendrick Now on Sale!

by Amy Wilkins, Harlequin Digital

eBook readers love two things: Harlequin Presents, and the possibility of getting backlist eBooks that have gone out of print. So that’s why I’m happy to bring you some news from Harlequin’s eBook program….

To tie in with the July series spotlight on Harlequin Presents, we have released a slew of backlist titles in eBook format by three of our bestselling and requested authors: Sandra Marton, Sharon Kendrick, and Penny Jordan. To see what out of print books you can now download (and save 15% off the cover price), visit the eBook Vault at the eHarlequin eBook Store.

In the coming months, we’ll be releasing even more books by readers’ favorite authors in eBook. Keep your eyes peeled in September for more by Susan Napier and Anne Mather!

And just as a reminder, that each and every month you can get all the Harlequin Presents books in eBook formats in three ways: individually from any eBook retailer, in our One-Click Buy bundles (which includes the 8 Harlequin Presents books, and the 4 Harlequin Extra titles in another bundle by that month’s theme), and our eBook Subscription program that delivers eBooks straight to your Book Shelf each month.

What other books and authors would you like to see as part of our backlist eBook releases? And if you have any questions about Harlequin eBooks, I’d be happy to answer :)

That’s brilliant news! It’s a great idea to offer backlist books as it can be tricky to get hold of favourite authors’ work sometimes.
I would like to be able to get hold of Sarah Morgan’s backlist as well as India Grey’s from Presents/Modern. It would be great to be able to buy all of Anne Oliver’s stories from Modern Heat too.

    Thank you!

    That’s fantastic, Amy!

I don’t suppose one of Susan Napier’s ebooks that will be available in September will be ‘Secret Admirer’? I’d LOVE to get my hands on that book. I’ve heard so much about the opening scene.

I’d also like to get hold of Anne McAllister and Trish Morey’s backlists as well.

    Many thanks,
    Angie

    Hi Angie,
Secret Admirer isn’t scheduled, but I can add it our list of titles to investigate further. For any book pre-1995, it can get tricky with rights and file availability.

I think this is a great idea! In addition to Sarah Morgan (mentioned above), I’d really like to see Lucy Monroe.

  5. Angie,

I’ve been reading back through the posts and came across this one, hopefully you are still out there. You can buy most old Harlequin Presents books on Amazon.com or Half.com (part of Ebay), I have purchased many old Susan Napier and Robyn Donald books on both these sites, including “Secret Admirer”.

I checked Amazon for “Secret Admirer” right before posting and found over 100 copies of the book were available to purchase right now. These books are usually posted by used bookstores across the country. Typically, they cost $0.01 to $0.99 plus postage (which runs about $3), so you can pick up the old books for between $3 and $4, not too bad.

If you pick up “Secret Admirer”, look for “The Revenge Affair” , “Another Time” and “Mistress of the Groom”, also very good Susan Napier books.

How about the idea of one subscription price and download whichever book the reader would like?
