Trish Wylie’s Harlequin Romance Cupcakes

by Amy Wilkins, Digital Production Coordinator

In our last couple posts we’ve been talking about the Harlequin Romance Diamond Brides books out this month, which include a book by Presents author Trish Wylie, Manhattan Boss, Diamond Proposal. Trish also has an eHarlequin online read Manhattan Cinderella, which you can read for free here.

Chapter 5 of Manhattan Cinderella mentions some incredibly mouth-watering cupcake — including Chocolate and Cabernet. Trish posted the recipe to this cupcake along with two others — Mocha and Chocolate Ganache –  in a post on the eHarlequin Community. I dare you to look at the pictures and not have your stomach growl!

I don’t know about you guys, but cupcakes and a Harlequin romance sound like a combo too good to resist…

What’s your favourite treat to enjoy while reading? I have such a sweet tooth, I’d love to hear about your special recipes!

  1. Amy, my down fall is chocolate. If I’m reading at night, sometimes I’ll have buttered popcorn…..doesn’t help the waistline!

Trish’s cupcakes sound wonderful, don’t they?

Those cupcakes sound delicious. I don’t know where Trish found the recipes but I have to try the ones with the Cabernet in them.

When I read, (it always at night after work before going to bed) I enjoy a nice glass of red wine.

This book sounds great. I like to settle down with a good book cup, of tea and bag of liquorice allsorts. I eat them faster as the action hots up!!

I tried to get to the online read but the link in the post just took me to the sale page for the book. Did I miss something?

Ellie, Here’s the link to the story: http://www.eharlequin.com/article.html?articleId=1398

It will probably be removed in a few days since the story is complete.

Whoops, sorry about the wrong link Ellie. Here’s where to read the Manhattan Cinderella: http://www.eharlequin.com/article.html?articleId=1398

Thanks for the link. I’ll just get settled to read it with a cup of tea … darn, no Allsorts left!
