All I Want for Christmas is… a Harlequin Medical hero!

It’s the holiday season, and with Medical Romance there’s an extra reason to celebrate!
Harlequin Medicals are now available to buy online from eHarlequin as ebooks each and every month.
This Christmas we’ve got some truly delicious treats for you to unwrap… Do you dream of a delicious doctor under your tree? If so your wish has just come true! This month we’re bringing you a British Billionaire, a brooding doctor from the heart of the Australian Outback, a drop-dead gorgeous bachelor dad, and last, but definitely not least a ruthlessly sexy Italian Surgeon!
Calling all Harlequin Presents fans. If you heart Harlequin Presents, we wanted to share with you our equally Alpha Medical heroes. Sinfully gorgeous, these top-notch docs and hot-shot surgeons are guaranteed to heat up even the coldest of winter nights!
To celebrate the launch of Medicals as e-books, here’s our festive feast of reasons to let yourselves be swept away by Harlequin Medicals…
Strong sexy heroes
Heart-meltingly gorgeous heroes – in Medicals the Alpha male is non-negotiable! Not only is he devastatingly attractive and effortlessly commanding, he’s also a man you can trust – with your life.
George Clooney was arguably at his sexiest as maverick paediatrician Dr Doug Ross (and we’ll take any excuse to pop in a picture of the delicious George…!)

And Hugh Laurie catapulted onto Hollywood’s sexiest list playing magnetically, uncompromisingly sexy House M.D., who embodied everything we look for in a Medical hero!

Glamour
Picture the scene: a hot-shot surgeon being called away from his glitzy black-tie party to tend to an emergency… This is one of our all time favourite daydreams – a devastatingly gorgeous man, made all the more unbearably handsome dressed in his tux. He has had to loosen his black bow tie, which now lies unfastened round his neck as he works tirelessly, dedicating himself to saving his patient…
But what really matters is knowing that underneath their playboy lifestyle lies a man who would move mountains to save a life!
International Locations
One of the things we hear that readers love about Presents are the settings that take you around the world. Not only are Medical heroes desirable doctors – they’re also wealthy international men too: Gorgeous Greeks, sexy sheikhs, irresistible Italians and hot-shot US docs, British Billionaires and Australian Tycoons.
Our heroes’ playgrounds are international, and their professional reputations are also world renowned!
Passion
As the snow starts to fall it’s all the more important to keep warm! Our dishy doctor heroes dedicate themselves to their patients by day – and they know how to keep a beautiful intelligent woman warm by night…
When lives – and love – are on the line, passion is definitely guaranteed!
The Authors!
In Medicals we have lots of great authors, including some you’ll know from Harlequin Presents; Sarah Morgan, Carol Marinelli, Melanie Milburne and Kate Hardy, and from Harlequin Romance: Marion Lennox and Caroline Anderson. There are lots of fabulous new voices to enjoy too!
So this holiday season, snuggle up with a Medical hero!

Thanks Lucy for the delicious pictures! Just what we need on a Friday afternoon
One of my favourite things about a Medical hero is that no matter how aloof, arrogant or brooding he may be, we know he has a heart of gold because of the way he treats his patients. Especially if those patients happen to be children or tiny babies – that just make me melt…sigh!
Joanne
Hi it’s Kimberley Young here… struggling to log in. So I’m at Lucy’s computer…under Jo’s name! Good job i didn’t go for a career in computing!
I just wanted to say if you haven’t tried a Medical Romance before then grab one quick!
I know Carol Marinelli is posting next week…and her book One Magical Christmas is such a treat! So get one for your stocking, or under your tree…or just for a little pre-Christmas sizzle!
I love Presents alpha heroes…and ones who save lives are even more irresistable.
happy weekend!

I read Kate Hardy’s The Spanish Doctor’s Love Child which was released in the UK as a “medical” and in the US as a Presents. It was excellent and very emotional.
Carol’s cover is beautiful along with the alpha pics.
I have to confess to a weakness for those doctor heroes myself.
What’s not to love about a gorgeous, brooding, brilliant, brainy alpha guy who can save your life?
While I love all the above mentioned, I have to say how much I adore the books of Amy Andrews. The Italian Count’s Baby, with its stunning backdrop of beautiful Positano and a hero to die for, not to mention a delightfully feisty Russian heroine, is one of my fave categories of all time.
I think it was out in America as a Presents Extra a couple of months back.
And thanks Lucy for that picture of George. He’s such a great start to the day!
cheers
