Thanks to Lucy Roberts’s blog, here are a couple recent articles about Mills & Boon:
First, the Guardian has a review of the BBC Mills & Boon shows that were on last weekend.
Then, the Scotsman has an article about Mills & Boon and the economy, including quotes from Harlequin Presents author Sara Craven.
Enjoy!

Hi amy
I watched Consuming Passions, and surprisingly, I wasn’t disappointed.
I thought it was great. How the BBC intertwined the 3 stories was very clever. And of course, the best was Emilia Fox.
But, the only thing I was really mad about, was that I couldn’t see the doco about writing a Mills and Boon.
Major disappointment, it clashed with Stricly Come Dancing final’s show.

Hi Karen – are you not able to access the BBC iplayer? The Time Shift programme should be available for another couple of days.
I was gratified to watch that Stella Duffy found it harder to write an M&B romance than she’d anticipated.
Of the two programmes I thought Consuming Passions was the best, really well done…
Hi Lorraine – I forgot about the iPlayer, I’ll have to look at it.
Yes, I agree, Consuming Passions was really good.
xx Karen
