Thanks for the heads up Jilly! Post is fixed now — it was one of those HTML problems that look okay in Firefox (which I mostly use) but when viewed in Internet Explorer, yowza!

Just to let you know a few of us are having problems getting the blog of Lucy’s critique. It shows some of the intro and then there’s just a line or two of gobbledygook, followed by a blank white page.

Hoping you can help. We’re all just dying to read what the eds have to say!!

Hello all!

Madeline, no I don’t know anything about. Joanne, the editor who ran the competition, has been on vacation for a few weeks — I’ll ask her if there will be more replies when she gets back

Speaking of editorial feedback, there might be a delay in posting Lucy’s editor’s comments. I’m not in the office today and I had the post set up to go up automatically, which it should have done already…but it seems to have disappeared into the internet ether! If it doesn’t come up automatically, I’ll have to re-post it when I’m back on Tuesday. Technology, eh?

My goodness, excuse me while I go pour a glass of cold water! Lucy, that was fantastic. A well-deserved winner, if I ever read one. Congratulations again on your achievement; it must be starting to feel more real as each step settles into place. So many encouraging comments for you, and each as genuine as the last.

And on a side note, I’ve not heard any word since the winners were announced either. No email or follow up letter. I had assumed I hadn’t made the cut, but there may still be hope yet.

Amy – are you aware of the progress of the competition feedback?

Well done again Lucy, can’t wait to read more!
