Another Author Talks About Revisions!

Harlequin author Alison Kent read Lynn Raye Harris’s post about revising and has written her own post about the process at her blog.

And while we’re talking about editing, don’t forget that our Meet the Editors podcast recently featured the Harlequin Presents editors talking about the line (use the drop down menu at the bottom of our Podcast page to listen — or find it on iTunes).

I read your post too Allison. Great advice. It’s wonderful to see that the pubbed authors still struggle with this too. I seriously need to take Shriley Jump’s advice and “disect” two or three books to get the “pacing” feel. I’m like you. I know my characters are falling in love. Hey, what’s not to love about a gorgeous wounded alpha male and a fiesty independant heroine? LOL. But, like others, I forget to “show” every look, touch ect. I’m going to pay more attention to those little details too, now. Maybe thatle be teh trick.
