I love this. Isn’t it fantastic that in this new downloadable day and age, that Harlequin Presents are still one of the most popular items?

You can’t keep a good book down. Or author for that matter.

Like Susan Susan Danziger, President and Publisher of DailyLit, says. “We thought what better way than to offer them a brand new title by one of their most popular authors.”

Congratulations Kate and well done to all those who download in response to this offer. You’re on a winner there!

    Thanks Trish!

It’s a great new way of bringing books to readers, isn’t it? I love the idea of being able to log on every morning and get a new episode of a story I want to read. But then I’m a ’soaps’ addict anyway so it’s not that different!

I had an email yesterday from a friend who is working in Ghana with VSO – he was telling me about how so many of the people he works with love reading but can’t get their hands on books easily. I sent him some of mine but it did make me wonder if something like this system could be used to get books to far to reach places – after all, Tony has email and so the email ersions of books can get to him much more easily than the parcel I posted off this morning.

But I’m just excited by the idea of getting books to people who want to read – and thrilled that my book has been chosen as part of this adventure

And isn’t it something special to think in the year that M&B are celebrating their 100th anniversary that romance books are still grwoiong in popularity after all this time?

    grwoiong??

OK – you all know that was meant to say ‘grwoing’ – didn’t you?

Why is it those typos are always invisible until we click the submit button? ;)

Ah-ha! So that’s what Kate’s teaser was all about! Sounds really interesting, going to click on the link right now!

I got mine the minute I read this post – and was up to installment number 27 a short time later – i love it how you can click on the ‘have the next part emailed to you RIGHT NOW’ thing – and they really do arrive that second – THANK GOODNESS… finished it that day (never have been much good at waiting) – and absolutely loved it!
Thanks so much Kate for another fabulous book and thanks to Daily Lit for giving it to us!

Mulberry – isn’t that so true.

I swear I checked through the whole post thoroughly – and yet there it was . . . grwoiong

And even when I came back and corrected it, I still got it wrong!

What can I say – I just have dyslexic fingers!

Hi Michelle – yes, that was what all the hinting was about. I got as close as I could without actually revealing anything till the official announcement was made.

The trouble is – that Daily Lit site is s-o-o tempting.

Hi Natalie – and thank you

I’m glad you enjoyed the book. And I’m interested to know that there’s that RIGHT NOW button – I didn’t know that. But then I didn’t download my own book.

That’s a relief to know, though. I don’t think I could wait a whole day for the next ‘episode’. The trouble is that that sort of defeats the instalment things – doesn’t it? You might as well download a whole ebook instead!

Kate (hoping that I’ve caught all the typos this time – it’s still early morning here because I’m off to the opening of the M&B Centenary exhibition today)

Well that’s true Kate – but for me that installment thing was good because it stopped me reading the end first!!!! ;) :)
I must confess I almost always do “RTEF” – even when I *know* its going to end happy ever after – I just have to *know* for sure (and how and why and all that).
Have a wonderful time at the exhibition!

Kate, it’s brilliant that your book is out there at Daily Lit like this. What a great ambassador for us all.

I was so interested in your comment about the friend in Ghana and the difficulty getting books. I suppose, if there’s computer there that people can share this might be a way to get easy access to books.
